In my opinion, the government should reconsider their way of handling disaster declarations. The fact that 4 people are recognized as disaster-related deaths in Ishikawa prefecture, just because of a natural disaster
, makes me wonder if it's not getting out of hand.
I think the system is being abused to get more compensation from the government. If they can declare someone dead due to a natural disaster, why not for other reasons? It's hard to verify the cause of death anyway, but at least we should be able to rely on some criteria
