Kyoto University professor Adda (Akiko Kasuyama) has passed away at 62 . I'm so sorry to hear that she's gone. Her passing is a loss for the art world and Japan as a whole. As someone who values knowledge and culture, it's sad to think of her no longer with us. She was an influential figure in promoting modern art from Eastern Europe, and her work on beauty and aesthetics has inspired many . I remember seeing some of her exhibitions at the National Museum of Art and being impressed by her passion for art history. Rest in peace, Professor Kasuyama-san .
Kyoto university professor, Katsuya Misono sensei, passed away at 62 . It's really sad to hear that Adda san (Katsuya Misono) pass away from cancer and renal cell carcinoma... I remember when he was the director of research at National Museum of Western Art, and later became a professor at Kyoto university in 2008... He was known for introducing contemporary art from Eastern Europe . And it's amazing that he won the Gloria Artis Award from Poland in 2019 . Adda san is famous for his research on aesthetics and art theory, and his work on contemporary art from Eastern Europe is really impressive .
