Osaka Police Department's 4th ward just had a bunch of officers suspended for their involvement in the violent incident during the investigation. I mean, can't they just focus on keeping the streets safe instead of being all rough around the edges?

It's like they're more worried about looking tough than actually doing their job.
I'm not saying they're bad guys or anything, but come on... four officers getting suspended over this one incident? That's a bit extreme don't you think?

What's next? Are we gonna start seeing police officers being suspended for every little thing they do?

It's just common sense to want to make sure these guys are held accountable for their actions, but maybe in a more constructive way?
I'm all for transparency and accountability, but it feels like this is just going through the motions. Where's the effort to actually address the underlying issues that led to the incident? You know, like lack of training or inadequate resources?

That's what I wanna see changed, not just a bunch of top brass getting axed over it.
