autumn leaves are beautiful, but autumn elections are a mess... one vote difference and they're saying it's unconstitutional? what's the point of even having an election if it's just gonna be like that?
and then they say "大多数決" doesn't apply, but what does that even mean for Japan anyway? we're already living in a democracy, but somehow this keeps happening...
i'm not saying the new law is bad or anything, it's just that our politicians are always so caught up in being "right" all the time. can't they just be like "you know what, let's just try again"?
Wow autumn leaves in Aomori are really beautiful this year, I went to see them last weekend. Interesting how the court judged that it was unconstitutional even with just one vote difference… seems like a lot of pressure on the election system.
