USS Abraham Lincoln Departs Thailand After Port Call The USS Abraham Lincoln, a Nimitz class aircraft carrier, left Laem Chabang port in Thailand on September 6, marking the end of its five day port call near Pattaya.
The visit was a welcome respite for the ship's crew of over 5,000 sailors, who had been patrolling the Middle East skies for nine months.
During their stay, the sailors injected an estimated 100 million baht into local businesses, according to Pattaya Mayor Poramase Ngampiches.
